Vitae Recruitment is seeking experienced Account Managers to join our client's dynamic team in Limassol, Cyprus. This onsite role requires a proactive professional with a strong background in sales and account management. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing, maintaining and growing client relationships, supporting traders, identifying new sales opportunities, and ensuring the delivery of excellent service to drive revenue growth. The role involves onboarding new clients, maintaining existing accounts, providing market insights, and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction while meeting sales and retention targets. You will act as a key point of contact for clients, providing tailored solutions and strategic insights to meet their needs. This role demands a motivated individual with exceptional communication skills, resilience, and a thorough understanding of sales processes within a private company environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients
- Act as the main point of contact for client inquiries and support
- Ensure high client satisfaction and retention rates
- Handle client complaints professionally and escalate when necessary
- Identify and acquire new clients through calls, emails, and networking
- Promote forex trading services, platforms, and products
- Meet or exceed monthly sales targets and KPIs
- Cross-sell and upsell additional financial products/services
- Guide clients through account opening procedures
- Ensure all compliance (KYC/AML) requirements are met
- Assist clients with platform setup and initial trading steps
- Provide basic market insights and trading information (not always advisory, depending on regulation)
- Educate clients on trading platforms, tools, and strategies
- Share updates on market trends, economic events, and opportunities
- Monitor client trading activity and engagement
- Identify inactive clients and re-engage them
- Support clients with deposits, withdrawals, and account issues
- Work closely with sales, compliance, dealing, and support teams
- Coordinate with marketing for campaigns and promotions
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or related field (preferred).
- Proven experience in sales and account management, ideally within the forex/financial services industry.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
- Sales-driven with negotiation abilities.
- Proactive approach to identifying new business opportunities and expanding existing accounts.
- Knowledge of forex markets, market analysis, CRM systems and trading platforms (e.g., MT4/MT5).
- Ability to work under pressure and meet targets.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple clients effectively.
- Problem-solving and client-handling skills.
- Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
