This role offers an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic legal environment and contribute significantly to corporate legal matters across both Cyprus and foreign jurisdictions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive legal advice on corporate governance, compliance, mergers and acquisitions, and contract negotiations, ensuring the organization maintains its legal integrity while pursuing its business objectives. This role is onsite, emphasizing collaboration and teamwork.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide legal advice on corporate governance, compliance, M&A, and regulatory issues.
- Handle the incorporation, restructuring, and reorganization of companies in Cyprus and abroad.
- Draft, review, and negotiate various legal and corporate documents.
- Manage administrative aspects of Cyprus and international company structures.
- Ensure compliance with relevant local and international laws and regulations.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external advisors to support business operations.
Key Attributes:
- Proven experience in a senior corporate legal role.
- Qualified lawyer with a degree in Law or equivalent.
- Hands-on experience in corporate matters, including the administration and management of companies registered in Cyprus and foreign jurisdictions.
- In-depth knowledge of Cyprus Company Law.
- Strong experience in drafting and reviewing legal documents.
- Familiarity with company incorporation, corporate governance, restructuring, and compliance.
- Demonstrated commercial awareness and a strong business mindset.
- Business fluency in both English and Greek, written and oral.
- Excellent communication, organizational and administrative skills.
- Professional, approachable, and team-oriented personality.
- Tech-savvy and proficient with legal and office software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to legal challenges.
- Self-motivated and capable of working independently and collaboratively.
