Our client, a well-established CFD Broker, is seeking a talented Video Editor to join their creative team and support their content and marketing efforts through high-quality video production. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating, editing, and publishing engaging video content and guides to enhance brand awareness, educate users, and drive audience engagement across digital platforms. This role requires an individual with a keen eye for detail, strong storytelling skills, and proficiency in editing software. The Video Editor will collaborate closely with the marketing and production teams to ensure timely delivery of high-quality videos that captivate the target audience. A proactive approach and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously are essential for success in this dynamic environment.
Responsibilities:
- Edit and produce high-quality video content for marketing, educational, and promotional purposes.
- Create video guides, tutorials, and platform walkthroughs for the company's products and services.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop video concepts aligned with campaigns and brand guidelines and messaging.
- Add graphics, animations, subtitles, and sound effects to enhance video quality and engagement.
- Prepare and export videos in appropriate formats for different platforms (website, YouTube, social media, ads, etc.).
- Upload and publish video content across various online platforms, ensuring proper optimization (titles, descriptions, tags, links with tracking etc).
- Maintain a consistent publishing schedule for video content.
- Stay up to date with video trends, tools, and best practices to improve content performance.
- Manage, organize and maintain video assets.
Key attributes:
- At least 1–2 years of experience in video editing or a similar role.
- Experience creating content for online platforms (YouTube, social media, websites).
- Knowledge of the online trading industry and financial markets will be considered an advantage.
- Strong video editing skills with attention to detail and storytelling.
- Proficiency in video editing software (e.g. Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro or similar).
- Basic understanding of motion graphics and visual effects.
- Good understanding of digital platforms (YouTube, TikTok, social media, websites).
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Creative mindset with the ability to translate ideas into engaging visual content.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
